How to Read a Tube Size

• 1: the nominal outside side dimension, in inches, for the square tube.
• 0.125: the nominal wall thickness in inches, equivalent to 1/8 inch.
• 24FT: the listed stock length in feet.

A rectangular tube adds a second outside dimension. For example, RECT TUBE 1 X 2 X 0.062 X 24FT identifies a 1-inch by 2-inch outside section, a 0.062-inch wall and a 24-foot stock length. Confirm the exact listing and any required tolerances before ordering.
